  • *1 All joint field studies and explorations collecting genetic resources have been and will be prepared in cooperation with the counterpart countries settling mutual agreement and done respecting and observing international terms and national rules. Genetic resources collected were divided into two subsets: one for conservation in the countries and another introduced into Japan under a MTA with the providing countries.
  • *2 These were joint explorations finantially supported by the Bioversity International (IBPGR/IPGRI formerly).
