The NARO Genebank manages plant, microorganism, and animal genetic resources related to agriculture. We collect, regenerate, conserve, characterize, distribute, manage and provide information on genetic resources to contribute to the global research and development of food and agriculture. We are also involved in the conservation of genetic resources in cooperation with overseas research institutes.
