- Origin
- Introduced to Japan in 1969 from Australia.
- Distribution:Yunnan.Kweichow.
- Characteristics
- Flowers:White,10-12 petals,5-6cm in diameter,peduncles about 1.5cm long. Flowering in October to December.
- Leaves:Oblong-elliptic,large,9-15cm long and 3-6cm wide,shining,bright green,weak impressed along the veins,rippled.
- 2n=30.
- Uses
- Distributed from Yunnan to Kweichow province,and a kind of tea plants. Flowers are larger than those of C.sinensis and have more petals.
