It is seems this is a original species of C.reticulata cultivars which have been cultivated in Yunnan from old times,and only exist around Tengtung prefecture,south-west of Yunnan.
The original clones of this species seem to have not been introduced yet.However,introduced in 1982 to Seibu-Maizuru Botanical Institute, as a cultivar called "Golden-Stamen Hibiscus" can be close to its original species.
Distribution:Yunnan.

Flowers:Soft-pink to deep-pink,5-11 petals,6-10cm in diameter.Floweringin January to March in south-east China.
Leaves:Elliptic to oblong-elliptic,5-11 long,and 4-5.5cm wide,deep-green,less shiny.Venation is obscure.
2n=90.
