Origin(Dainyorai)
Dainyorai is a Japanese variety of univoltine and white colored cocoon. It had
been held by Imperial Kyoto Sericultural Science College. The cocoon is large spindle
shaped and has flossy wrinkle. The body marking is plain. The cocoon color is light
greenish yellow. It is considered that the present Dainyorai is distinct from the
Dainyorai strain of the era of Hoei(1704-1711).
