Origin
Introduced to Japan in 1969 from Australia.
Distribution:Yunnan.Kweichow.
Characteristics
Flowers:White,10-12 petals,5-6cm in diameter,peduncles about 1.5cm long. Flowering in October to December.
Leaves:Oblong-elliptic,large,9-15cm long and 3-6cm wide,shining,bright green,weak impressed along the veins,rippled.
2n=30.
Uses
Distributed from Yunnan to Kweichow province,and a kind of tea plants. Flowers are larger than those of C.sinensis and have more petals.
